Double braiding, core.

Power part of rope - high strength 12-strand APERVID rope made from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) Dyneema®, 24-strand braiding - polyester.

Core holds tension loads, braiding prevents abrasion of core, thus saves for long time its strength properties.

Absolutely dielectric materials.

UV, acids, salts and alkalis resistant.

It was created as alternative of steel rope. Stronger than steel rope, it is also lighter, corrosion resistant, safer at work, easier-to-storage.

APERVID rope, compared to steel, doesn't form burr, that could injure hands, and also doesn't form creases, that could cause breakage in time and possible injuries for workers.

Features

  • High specific strength. 10 times lighter than steel rope with equal weight and with the same strength characteristics.
  • Low elongation up to 2.5 % at 50 % breaking load.
  • UV resistance.
  • Rot-resistant.
  • Lighter than water.
  • Resistance to acids and alkalis.
  • Easy to braid and splice under field conditions.
  • Application safety.

Application:

  • winch rope
  • rigging rope for yachts
  • mooring rope for ship winches

Operating temperature range (recommended):

from –150 °С up to 90 °С.
